Dr. Farhan Shahzad attended medical school in Pakistan and completed his specialist training in General Adult Psychiatry and Liaison Psychiatry in England, United Kingdom. He also holds a postgraduate certification in Medical Education from the University of Winchester, England.
Dr. Shahzad moved to Canada and settled in Maple Ridge in 2024. He is a member of the psychiatry on-call team at Ridge Meadows Hospital and provides both inpatient and outpatient psychiatric care. His professional interests include sports psychiatry.
Outside of his clinical work, Dr. Shahzad enjoys spending time with his family and is an avid cricket and tennis enthusiast.
