Dr. Winston Tsui

Dr. Winston Tsui

President, RMH Medical Staff Association and Physician Engagement Society

Dr. Tsui graduated from Queens' medical school and completed cardiology training at the University of Toronto. He arrived in Maple Ridge in 2006 when he joined the department of medicine and took on the role as head of the cardiology department. He continues to be active as a staff cardiologist, intensivist and director of the echo lab. About five years ago, Dr. Tsui started getting involved with the Medical Staff Association and has continued this work, as he was inspired by his amazing colleagues in the medical community. He started out as Treasurer, and in the last two years as part of the Medical Staff and Physician Engagement Society Executive. Outside of the hospital, Winston looks forward every winter to the ski season and tennis year-round. He currently serves as the President of the Medical Staff Association and the Physician Engagement Society.

Dr. Joseph Lee

Dr. Joseph Lee

Vice President, RMH Medical Staff Association and Physician Engagement Society

Dr. Lee came from a small town in Ontario to Maple Ridge. He attended McMaster University for Medical School, and completed his residency in family medicine at the University of Toronto. As a hospitalist at Ridge Meadows Hospital and locum in family medicine clinics, his areas of interest include the development of systems and processes to help deliver excellence in medical care, and teaching learners when he has the opportunity. He joined the board to help MSA members build relationships with the hospital and the health authority to improve care. He currently serves as the Vice President of the Medical Staff Association and the Physician Engagement Society.

Dr. Michelle Strovski

Dr. Michelle Strovski

Treasurer, RMH Medical Staff Association and Physician Engagement Society

Dr. Strovski is originally from North Vancouver. She completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Western Ontario and returned to UBC first to study medicine, followed by her residency in Urology. Areas of interest include oncology and laparoscopy. She is passionate about working to advance urological care in Maple Ridge and committed to promoting professional development as the champion of RMH Grand Rounds. She currently serves as the Treasurer for the Medical Staff Association and the Physician Engagement Society as well as the Grand Rounds coordinator.

Dr. Linda Bohacek

Dr. Linda Bohacek

Board Member, RMH Physician Engagement Society

Dr. Bohacek graduated from the University of Toronto School of Medicine, and completed her General Surgical Residency and a Master's of Science degree in Epidemiology at Memorial University in Newfoundland. She then obtained a Fellowship in Endocrine Surgery at the Cleveland Clinic. Linda joined the staff at Ridge Meadows in 2018, where she currently practices general surgery, with a special interest in endocrine (thyroid and parathyroid) surgery. Outside of work Linda enjoys biking, hiking, kayaking, travel, and painting. She is currently a board member of the Physician Engagement Society.

Dr. Zoe Redenbach

Dr. Zoe Redenbach

Dr. Redenbach was born and raised in Vancouver, and completed her BSc, MSc, and MD at UBC.  Planning to work somewhere smaller, she did her UBC Family Medicine Residency in Prince George. She worked there for 13 years: half-time in family medicine in the Residency Program, and half-time in the ER at the UHNBC teaching hospital.  She successfully challenged the EM exam, and due to her years as UBC Residency PG Site faculty and is now a FCFP (EM). She is now working full time in the RMH ER.  As the first MAiD (Medical Assistance in Dying) provider in Prince George, she has brought her passion for this end-of-life care to Maple Ridge, where she is the only local provider. She brings years of board experience and leadership training from the Prince George Division of Family Practice to the RMH PES board. She is currently a board member of the Physician Engagement Society.

Dr. Ken Burns

Dr. Ken Burns

Past President, RMH Medical Staff Association and Physician Engagement Society

Dr. Burns graduated from UBC Medical school in 1978 then completed postgraduate studies in New Zealand which included extended training in Anaesthesia and Obstetrics. Since arriving in Maple Ridge in 1980 he has been involved in the Medical community at multiple levels such as Hospital Department head, President of the Medical Staff Association, President of the Ridge Meadows Hospital Physician Engagement Society, Chief of Staff and Medical Director. He currently works at Westgate Medical clinic and at the Ridge Meadows Maternity clinic. In the Community, he has been involved in the School Board, Soccer community (coaching 12 years), Head of the Parent's Advisory Committee of Maple Ridge Secondary School, Chair of the Division of Family Practice, Peer Mentor for the IT community and lead physician of the Maternity Clinic.

Rich Dillon

Rich Dillon

Executive Director RMH, Maple Ridge & Pitt Meadows Community Health Services

Mr Dillon has over 19 years of experience in various progressive leadership positions within Vancouver Coastal Health, most recently as Director, Clinical Operations, Patient Flow & Care Transitions. During this time, he also held a leadership role for Covid-19 Recovery as Recovery Chief and Clinical Operations Lead – Richmond EOC, as well as, the role of Clinical Director, responsible for the Richmond Hospital Redevelopment Project. Rich holds a Bachelor of Science, in Specialty Nursing from British Columbia Institute of Technology, as well as a Master of Business Administration in Executive Management (Leadership) from Royal Roads University.

Dr. Ockert Lampen

Dr. Ockert Lampen

Site Medical Director, Ridge Meadows Hospital

Dr. Lampen has been an obstetrician and gynecologist at Ridge Meadows Hospital since 2003. During this time, he has held various physician leadership roles including both Local Department Head for Obstetrics and Gynecology and Local Department Head for Surgery. He has been a Clinical Assistant Professor at UBC since 2006 and Clinical Associate Professor since 2018. Dr. Lampen qualified as a Family Physician from the University of Pretoria in South Africa in 1986, and completed his Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency at the Stellenbosch University in South Africa in 1996. He is currently the Site Medical Director at Ridge Meadows Hospital.
