Dr. Sandeep Bhachu

Dr. Sandeep Bhachu

President, RMH Physician Engagement Society

Dr. Bhachu completed his undergraduate at UBC with a Major in Mathematics. He then studied abroad and graduated from the University of Leeds in the UK with a Masters’ in Medical Engineering and Biomechanics.  From there he attended medical school at Trinity College Dublin, Ireland.  Upon graduating, he returned to Canada and completed a residency in Orthopaedics at Queen's University. Dr. Bhachu joined the medical staff at RMH in 2018.  His clinical focus is hip and knee replacement surgery. He currently serves as the President of the MSA and also sits on the Board for the RMH Foundation and Wellness Committee.

Dr. Linda Bohacek

Dr. Linda Bohacek

Vice President, RMH Physician Engagement Society

Dr. Bohacek graduated from the University of Toronto School of Medicine, and completed her General Surgical Residency and a Master's of Science degree in Epidemiology at Memorial University in Newfoundland. She then obtained a Fellowship in Endocrine Surgery at the Cleveland Clinic. Linda joined the staff at Ridge Meadows in 2018, where she currently practices general surgery, with a special interest in endocrine (thyroid and parathyroid) surgery. Outside of work Linda enjoys biking, hiking, kayaking, travel, and painting.

Dr. Clara Hong

Dr. Clara Hong

Treasurer, RMH Medical Staff Association and Physician Engagement Society

Dr. Clara Hong attended UBC medical school and trained in Kelowna. She completed her residency in family medicine in Victoria in 2020 and returned back home to start her practice. Valuing a strong sense of community learned from previous rural training, she chose Ridge Meadows as her home base and began working as a hospitalist in 2021. Clara is excited to join the RMH MSA to help improve processes and relationships in order to improve care. Outside of work, she enjoys travel, food, hiking, and spinning.

Dr. Murthy Korada

Dr. Murthy Korada

Board Member, RMH Physician Engagement Society

Dr Murthy Korada attended medical school in South India and completed his training in pediatrics and pediatric endocrinology in the UK. He has Royal College certification in both specialties in Canada as well. He is part of the pediatrician on-call group at Ridge Meadows Hospital and has an office in the community where he follows children with medical, behavioral, endocrine related difficulties. He runs a pediatric diabetes clinic at Surrey Memorial Hospital on Thursdays. He enjoys spending time with his family ( his wife, Anu Korada is a pediatric dentist and Ridge Meadows Hospital Foundation board member). He likes to play cricket and tennis on weekends. Murthy joined the RMH MSA board in 2024 and would like to improve collaboration and communication within the medical community at Ridge Meadows Hospital.

Dr. Stephanie Tsang

Dr. Stephanie Tsang

Board Member, RMH Physician Engagement Society

Dr. Tsang completed her medical school training at the University of British Columbia, and her Internal Medicine and Respirology fellowship at UBC. She joined the medical staff at Ridge Meadows in 2015 specializing in Respirology and general Internal Medicine. Stephanie is currently the RMH Pulmonary Function Lab Medical Director. She is also a co-founder of Centrio Medical Specialists Clinic in Burnaby, a multidisciplinary and multilingual clinic focused on providing collaborative multidisciplinary care. Dr. Tsang is excited to join the MSA Physician Engagement Society to help improve communications and build relationships, that will help RMH continue to provide excellent medical care.

Dr. Laura Kelly

Dr. Laura Kelly

Site Medical Director, Ridge Meadows Hospital

Dr Kelly joined the Medical Staff at Ridge Meadows hospital in 1995, working as a part-time Emergency Physician and running a Family Practice. She has held many leadership roles over her career, including Local Department Head of Emergency Medicine, and Medical Staff President, representing our site at Regional Health Authority meetings. She continues to provide care in the RMH Emergency Department, and at the Cottonwood Medical Clinic. Currently she is also the Regional co-lead for Medical Staff Wellness, and sits on the Board of Directors for the Ridge Meadows Division of Family Practice, and the RMH Foundation.

Executive Director RMH, Maple Ridge & Pitt Meadows Community Health Services

Luauna has been with Fraser Health for over 30 years, most recently in the role of Director, Clinical Quality & Patient Safety. She has experience in a multitude of roles within the health authority ranging from RN, Patient Care Coordinator, Clinical Nurse Educator, Clinical Manager, and Director. Luauna has her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Victoria, and holds a Masters in Health Administration from the University of Regina.

Past President, RMH Medical Staff Association and Physician Engagement Society

Dr. Lee came from a small town in Ontario to Maple Ridge. He attended McMaster University for Medical School, and completed his residency in family medicine at the University of Toronto. As a hospitalist at Ridge Meadows Hospital and locum in family medicine clinics, his areas of interest include the development of systems and processes to help deliver excellence in medical care, and teaching learners when he has the opportunity. He joined the board to help MSA members build relationships with the hospital and the health authority to improve care.

Society Administrator, RMH Medical Staff Association and Physician Engagement Society

Stacy Mulcahy is a Project Manager that has been supporting multiple sites with their Engagement Initiative since 2016. At this time, she is supporting the Concurrent Disorder Physician Engagement Association, the Forensic Physician Engagement Society, the BCMHSUS Regional Table, and the Ridge Meadows Hospital Physician Engagement Society. Briony Geldeard

Administrative Assistant, RMH Medical Staff Association and Physician Engagement Society

Briony Geldeard assists Stacy Mulcahy with the day to day running of the RMH MSA & PES. In her role she manages and tracks MSA dues payments, coordinates events, compiles our bi-weekly newsletter the “90 Second Update” and other electronic communications. Prior to moving to Canada 12 year ago, Briony worked in television production in the UK. She now works part time for the Engagement Society and part time at a local circus school, teaching aerial silks and flying trapeze.
