Dr. Lampen has been an obstetrician and gynecologist at Ridge Meadows Hospital since 2003. During this time, he has held various physician leadership roles including both Local Department Head for Obstetrics and Gynecology and Local Department Head for Surgery. He has been a Clinical Assistant Professor at UBC since 2006 and Clinical Associate Professor since 2018. Dr. Lampen qualified as a Family Physician from the University of Pretoria in South Africa in 1986, and completed his Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency at the Stellenbosch University in South Africa in 1996.
