Dr. Redenbach was born and raised in Vancouver, and completed her BSc, MSc, and MD at UBC. Planning to work somewhere smaller, she did her UBC Family Medicine Residency in Prince George. She worked there for 13 years: half-time in family medicine in the Residency Program, and half-time in the ER at the UHNBC teaching hospital. She successfully challenged the EM exam, and due to her years as UBC Residency PG Site faculty and is now a FCFP (EM). She is now working full time in the RMH ER. As the first MAiD (Medical Assistance in Dying) provider in Prince George, she has brought her passion for this end-of-life care to Maple Ridge, where she is the only local provider. She brings years of board experience and leadership training from the Prince George Division of Family Practice to the RMH PES board.
